Will cement render crack?+

Fine hairline cracking can happen as any masonry moves, but correct prep, control joints and a good membrane or paint system keep it to a minimum. If your walls move a lot, we may suggest acrylic render instead.

Does cement render need painting?+

Yes. Cement render should be sealed with a quality exterior paint or membrane to keep water out and give an even colour. We can organise this as part of the job.
